Our Review:

The O'Neill Thinskin Superfreak tops are one of those little known gems of the surf world. These are made from a 0.5mm Ultraflex neoprene, which gives you a decent amount of insulation from a ultra light weight. The thing that i dig about this top is the year round use that it gets:

Through the summer they are perfect to wear along with a pair of boardies. The ThinSkin is perfect at keeping the sun off and the insulation is just right so that, unlike a standard spandex rashie, you will not get that windchill as the moisture evaporates from the material.  As you may have experienced this windchill has a massive cooling effect and can seriously sap your body warmth. You can take this protection one set further and team the ThinSkin up with the neoprene Hammer Shorts under your boardies to eliminate the windchill from these as well. You've effectively just got rid of the need for a spring suit....

Then come winter wearing the Thinskin under your wettie massively boosts your core body heat.
