Kiting Instructors

Kiting lessons are an absolute must for those wanting to learn. While the process of learning to kiteboard is pretty easy and quick, it is essential that you know how to keep yourself safe and if the unexpected does happen, that you know how to react without hesitation. The NZ Boardstore only endorses Instructors that provide one-on-one lessons. This is by far the safest, quickest and most economical way for you to go.

Craig Clark and Brett Pritchard, two advanced IKO (internationl Kiteboarding Organisation) instructors, and our own Dan Joblin, who you will find at our store, will teach you the basics right up to pro level. Both frequent Pt Chev as their preferred teaching venue, but will travel Auckland wide in search of the best spot, depending on wind direction and tides.

For Aucklands eastern bays locals, Steve Hooper, from RIPD Kiteboarding lives, works and breathes from St Heliers Bay and Tamaki river.
