The fibreglass shaft gives this paddle a lighter weight than the alu paddles, along with a warmer feel that is more pleasing to the touch, particularly on those colder days. With a nicely moulded plastic handle and a nylon blade that delivers good power but won't trash your board's rails, this paddle is an really excellent product for the price.

Bear in mind that a fixed-length paddle is really best suited for just one size of rider, give or take 5cm. If the paddle is just going to be used by one person then a fixed length paddle makes excellent sense, as it is the lightest and stiffest option. However, if you're looking for a paddle for several people to use, then you may be better off looking at one of our adjustable paddles.
