When you are Pursuing something, naturally you want to catch it, or go faster. Magazine testing of the Pursuit and lots of feedback from sailors put this simple RAF slalom outline at the level of fastest in its class. Perfectly even shape distribution produces a smooth transition from the fullness of the lower sections to the flatter upper sections. The relatively low total luff curve values are responsible for the simple tuning and easy rigging that is the mark of a good RAF sails. Downhaul tension measured with our load cell can be half of what otherwise may be expected so there is less work and it's easier to find your 'sweet spot'. And a deep luff cutout dimension makes attaching the boom a breeze.
 
The 2011 Pursuit is simply super for fun slalom and easy to sail. The wide range enables you to handle a broad variety of conditions, and the light weight always makes it easier to spend more time sailing. The RAF design is simple to rig, very light, and always right for smooth jibing. Tube/rod battens are there for excellent draft stability, high end control and balance at speed. We always seek to create a supple organic feel, responsive to changes in wind and waves. The correct combination of shaping and tension produces an efficient power generator with twist progression perfectly suited to open ended blasting and carving jibes. The narrow, tapered sleeve is perfect for waterstarting with minimum effort.
